Today I learned that the following is a grammatically valid sentence:

 Yup. Go ahead, try to wrap your head around it, or just look it up. English is weird.

Tonight I learned that daylight savings time is responsible for the deaths of tens of millions of unborn babies.

Or whatever.  I didn’t read the linked article.  I’m too cranky.  It’s 1:11 AM, I slept late this morning, I may never get to bed, I have to go to work in like 45 minutes, I forgot to do my laundry and therefore have a limited selection of clean socks, etc. etc.  I choose to blame all of this on the clocks moving ahead an hour, which renders some of my timepieces inaccurate and others suddenly accurate for the first time in six months and I probably should have just gone to bed at 9.

 Today I checked out my bank account and learned that, oops! I’m fucking broke. Not exactly sure how that happened so fast, but such are the days we live in.

 So yeah, it’s really not funny / how bad I am with money, and let’s go do some free shit like ride our bikes and not just sit inside all day, letting fresh Georgia air go to waste. Because the days of throwing down cards at bars and taking trips for fun and buying mountains of comic books have to go away for a little while. I gotta go re-learn how to get away with living on the cheap.

Hey, when was somebody going to tell me about Ladies And Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space?

Despite being a big fan of the latest Spiritualized album, I had no idea until tonight how good the previous one (12 years earlier!) was.  I think I like it for the same reason I like Australian novels about broken men, whatever that reason is.
